You pay no money
upfront. If you have Medicare Part B and a supplemental
insurance, it may cover all the cost.
Every year Medicare has a deductible on its part B plan. For 2011 it is $162.00. Some supplemental insurances may cover this deductible.
After you've met your deductible, Medicare pays 80% of your costs on your part B plan, for eligible services of devices. Again some supplemental insurances pay for this also.
